Kothe Library Article
It was a great time last week for Parkersburg Fun Days Rebuilding for the Future. Our Story Time kids got to celebrate by hearing some new stories for the day's theme, Let's Build. Everyone knew first hand about rebuilding since they have all watched the reconstruction going on within the community. All the boys and girls were familiar with all the big machinery and recognized all the tools used for our story time rhyme and song. Some of the stories they heard were Building With Dad by Carol Neius and Bob the Builder. Everyone made a fun building project for their craft. They constructed a picture frame shaped like a house and glued a picture of themselves in the middle.

The library would like to announce that we have received a generous contribution from Carrie Biely and the Klinkenborg family. Money was given specifically for the purchase of DVD's for the Kothe Library. We have recently purchased several movies and will purchase more in the weeks to come as new ones are being released. The new titles added are: P.S. I Love You, Shutter, Nims Island, Bonneville, Definitely- Maybe, Bank Job, Sleepwalking, Grace is Gone.
On behalf of the library staff and board, we would like to say a very special thank you for this generous gift.
Beginning August 27, Parent to Parent After the Tornado support group will meet in the library basement. Meetings will be held from 7:00-8:00 on a monthly basis.
