Join the Parkersburg Summer Play! Learn about the history of Parkersburg, sing and have fun with the original play “Back to the Fifties”. The youth choir is open to anyone who will be in 8th grade in August 2010 and younger. Adult choir is for anyone 9th grade and above. Rehearsals will be at the High School Auditorium in Parkersburg. Rehearsal schedule is as follows (subject to change):
Monday, August 2 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, All
Wednesday, August 4 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, All
Sunday, August 8 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Dress Rehearsal
Monday, August 9 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Dress Rehearsal
Tuesday, August 10 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Dress Rehearsal
Performances at High School Auditorium:
Wednesday, August 11 at 7:30 PM
Thursday, August 12 at 7:30 PM
Rehearsal CDs will be provided during the first week of rehearsals to aid in learning the songs. Music will also be available to check out. Summer is a busy time, but, in order for this to be successful, a commitment to attend at least 80% of rehearsals is a must.
